Small smatterings: January

We have had no birthdays or holidays since last post, just regular fun stuff. December is such a whirlwind for us with two kid birthdays and Christmas. I love it, but It makes a quieter January seem nice.

Family trip to Chuck E Cheese. Isaac and I still call it Show Biz.

It never gets old watching the kids when Ike gets home.

Love our big bath tub

We are loving school even more and more. Here we are about to leave the school to go see Click Clack Moo.

Thanks, mom and dad, for watching Set so I could sit with Annette's class. Set can not sit still at all these days.

He keeps us all on our toes.

Set has (finally!) started sleeping through the entire night. At 13 months. Which isn't that crazy for us. I'm not good at creating easy sleepers, so this is about norm for our babies.  He just all the sudden stopped waking up in the middle of the night. Glad to have my full night of sleep back. Really glad. But a little sad he's not such a baby anymore. I'm kind of in denial that he is a toddler now.

Monster jams with our big two...

Watching snow fall

Cruz bday at Larry's...

Set is still ball obsessed

Attempt at a family pic. Guess who did not want to cooperate.

I said, Annette please get your finger out of your nose. She says, But It's itching! Hard not to laugh.

Charlie performed with his school TOT team at a UALR game. He was super super cute. I think he was the best dribbler out there :)

His fans...

Now we are ready for hearts and valentines and hopefully some warmer days.

New Year

I feel like I haven't spent this much concentrated time at home with all three of my littles in a longggg time.

It's been so good to be around Annette all day everyday. Since she started real school, I have missed those uninterrupted hours that I find us just drawing/talking/snacking/gaming together. But at the same time, I'm about out of activities!!
If I don't get us out of the house at least once each day, I find myself going crazy by 2:30.
So getting back to school (on Tuesday for LRSD) will be nice for us:) School is such a treat for us.

Here's what we've been up to...

Set had his one year check up. Is it bad that I already forgot what he weighed!!? It is. I know it was either 22 or 23 or 24 lbs:) 4 shots (second dose of the flu along with the standard three)
He says one word consistently. I mean, ALL the time. BALL. BALL. He wakes up saying BALL. Literally. Literally. Literally. And bye bye. Love when he does that one:) He has directed his da -da a few times to isaac. He seems to day 'nette' for his sis. And he is trying to say 'dog' and 'woof woof'. But I don't really count any of those yet, bc he's not doing them all the time. And I'm looking forward to mama.

We saw Santa at a party back in December. Forgot to post that. Charlie and set would not sit in his lap.

We've played a LOT with our new toys.

Loved my gifts from their teachers! A 'magical' framed photo of nette, and a cute little canvas crafted by Charlie (with some help from miss jessica, obviously)

And I forgot to post some of the pics I took from the snow/ice days we had in December.

Looking forward to another year with this family I've been given. Thank you, LORD, for this family!!

Happy 2014!

Fifth Birthday FIESTA!

Our sweet Annette turned five! We celebrated with our community group, grandparents, and siblings.

Nonnie's cookies were perfect!

I kept it so easy this year. I'm just barely finished unpacking boxes, so I kept things really simple. Made quesadillas and had cheese dip and salsa. And a piƱata!!

You bring us so much joy, Annette. We are getting to know your precious heart more and more every day. And grow more and more grateful for the blessing of YOU.
Happy 5th birthday, Nettie!
